Pricing
In addition to building upper end kitchen
cabinets, starting in 2011 basic custom kitchen
cabinets will be available for $275 per lineal
foot. That includes a 24" deep base
cabinet and a 12" deep by 30" high
upper cabinet with the following features:
These are well build cabinets
that will last for a very long time. One
important feature is solid blocking for the
drawer (and rollout shelf ) slides. Instead
of relying on a plastic socket stapled to
the back of the cabinet to support the weight
in the drawer for years, these slides are
screwed directly to wood blocking that is
glued to the cabinet sides for long term
dependability.
There is no particle board, hardboard (Masonite),
melamine, etc. used to build these cabinets.
Just solid wood and plywood. These cabinets
have full backs that fit well and are glued
and stapled in place to keep out unwanted
creatures (think mice, etc.). Some cabinet
makers don't put backs on their cabinets!
The price of pulls for doors and drawers
vary widely, from wood knobs for 59¢
to granit knobs for $20+. I have cataloges
with thousands of pulls to choose from and
let my customers pick out what they want
and have them at my cost minus $2 each.
Finally, there are many upgrades that can
be applied to the drawers, rollout shelves,
etc. Please feel free to inquire at your
convenience by calling (207-474-5722) or
